*Click the screen to see more slides* Today I went to the HP barn to meet Settle. When I got to Settles field she look at me curiously but didn't move from the spot she was grazing at. I walked into the field and held out a treat. That motivated her to come near and she walked over, ate the treat, and then let me give her pets. I found her itchy spot on her bridge of her nose and se let me scratch it. After I pet her I walked a bit to see if she would follow me. She did, and we walked around the field. It had been a hour or so, so I gave Settle a few more pets and she followed me to the gate. And once I left she looked at me like I was crazy for leaving her before I walked away.
