Today, a new state was proclaimed. From the roots of the Baskin Union and the Communist States of America rises a new nation: The Great Lakes Union. Formed in opposition to the growing influence of the Confederacy of Dixieland and the NCR, the C.S.A and the Baskin Union deemed it necessary for them to unite. The military of the two nations has been reorganized into the American People's Liberation Army. Due to similar economic systems, joint integration was not difficult. The formation of the Great Lakes Union signals a new age for American Socialism.
