heyheyhey spop it's koko with the fomo and I do this now. I've been wanting to do this for a while erm akshally but since it's like lowk a trend in spop here we GAUR Keep in mind NONE OF THIS IS TARGETED AND ITS MY OPINION, KEYWORD OPINION. 1. there aren't enough rappers speaking as an spop rapper, there aren't a lot of spop rappers, like I see people fighting for the vocal positions but there's like 2 auditionees for rap (and they all say they're allrounders). like, even if you're a vocalist, try rapping? maybe you'll end up la la la liking it better (like MOI) 2. spop needs more vocal colour for example, in the singing/music community (non spop) there are SOOO many different, unique and most importantly BEAUTIFUL voice types and they are all celebrated. I feel like other opinion projects have touched on this, but unlike the mainstream music community, spop doesn't celebrate the more unique vocal tones. Also we lowk need more altos like not everyone is a soprano :P #altopression 3. forced voices this kind of goes hand in hand (like that one couple in school) with number 2, some spoppers (NOT TARGETED BTW) force their head voice or a 'cute' or 'soft' voice to fit in. I'm not hating, I get wanting to fit in, and I get some people naturally have this vocal tone and are extremely talented and have lovely voices, but try using your TRUE vocal tone because it's just as pretty, or even more pretty! 4. rap audition links I see SOOO many audition folders that have 'rap' in them but it's literally just the chorus. like I get not everyone can rap like ace-sa but there are simpler raps. take baemon for example, the rap in batter up is harder and much longer than the rap in drip, psycho and billionaire, so maybe choose one of the easier ones instead if you're not that confident! 5. overglazing BURNING HOT (like le sserafim) TAKE but overglazing can be good SOMETIMES. some people are not that confident in their voice or in sharing it, and need that encouragement. I understand that they need to work to improve and giving tips on how to improve is more beneficial than overglazing, but sometimes overglazing someone can give them the confidence boost so that when they read the constructive criticism, they won't take it so harshly and actually learn how to improve. however, there is a limit to overglazing, and I'm more careful with it now. 6. spoppers over sharing be for real, y'all share TOO much about your personal life. like ofc we can connect to you guys more with shared experiences and the spop comm is a place to yap and let everything go, but, nbr, we don't need to know every little detail of when you went to the shops and bought a bag of haribos when you were 6 years 2 months 17 days and 0.278472828 seconds old. 7. spop audition forms...... genuinely why do they wanna know EVERY SINGLE DETAIL ABOUT YOU. like why does son wanna know my mother's cousins dogs shoe size? also random but I have SUCH trouble filling out them fun fact things. IM NOT AN INTERESTING PERSON I DONT HAVE ANY FUN FACTS ABOUT ME. 7. not spop but why is yi hani just over a year older than me thats not ok 8. pineapple does NOT and I repeat DOES NOT BELONG ON PIZZA. if you want to argue, argue with the wall. (Yes, there is a deeper meaning and it IS that deep.)
