Following the extreme British response to Jugoslav sanctions, Jugoslavija shall strengthen its economic ties with its fellow BCU (Balkans Customs Union, members are Yugoslavia made up of Serbia, Republika Srpska, Montenegro [concludes territories making up yugoslavia] Croatia, Bosnia, North Macedonia, Slovenia) members. The Port of Bar and Bay of Kotor shall be used as a duty-free hub for all bloc members, with maritime imports directly distributed to Bosnia and North Macedonia who lack their own coastline. In retaliation for the affected Jugoslav families, the government sends local police and auditors to physically secure all British assets (factories, retail stores, banks, warehouses, and corporate offices) inside Serbia+Montenegro (Federal Republic of Jugoslavija), and any willing bloc partners. A system of “Democratic State Capitalism” shall be issued regarding all British assets. Frozen British assets shall be repurposed under a state-backed holding corporation called the Jugoslav Reconstruction & Development Fund. The seized physical property shall be converted into digital or paper financial stock. 50% for Family Compensation: The families deported by Britain are handed a specific number of these shares. These shares act like a steady paycheck. Every month or quarter, as these factories and businesses make a profit, a dividend (cash payout) is sent directly to these families to cover their losses. 30% for Bloc Partners: Blocks of these shares given directly to the governments or major industrial companies of Croatia, Bosnia, and North Macedonia to promote the economic growth of the region. 20% for State Ownership: The federal government retaining a minority stake to ensure the factories align with military and infrastructure needs, and to keep consumer prices stable. The new state-backed corporation shall be run by a Workers’ Council. Only the most competent workers, no matter their ethnicity, will be elected to manage the new corporation with some oversight from the member states of the Balkans Custom Union. This operates like a Closed Regional Exchange. Only citizens, companies, and governments inside the economic bloc are allowed to trade these shares. This prevents foreign powers from secretly buying back control. Additionally, in response to London’s hostile actions, a wave of fierce anti-imperialist patriotism has swept throughout the nation. Thousands of citizens have taken to the streets in coordinated protest. In a massive display of defiance against the British regime, crowds have begun burning British flags, signaling to the world that the Federal Republic of Jugoslavija shall not be influenced by the hands of foreign imperialists! There lies the Slavic Spirit!
