(most of these aren't even hot takes or unpopular i js need to rant lmao) btw they're all about kpop and scr 1. babymonster has soo much potential but yg is forcing them to showcase it in a way that isn't ideal. i've seen plenty of netizens dislike baemon's songs and ig i kind of understand why, although i like most of their discography. if yg stopped giving ahyeon high notes in every cb, gave asa more vocals, showcased ruka's dance skills more, promoted pharita and rora more, stopped s3xualizing chiquita, gave monstiez updates about rami's hiatus, and made the song lyrics have more meaning, then i think they will become one of the best kpop groups yet. 2. adding on to that, a lot of baemon's songs don't have a lot of meaning and very generic lyrics, which im not a fan of. take sugar honey ice tea for example. "ain't no other baddie like me" and the very repetitive chorus and outro? cmon yg and producers. you can do better than that. i mean, the overall vibe and sound is likeable (at least for me), so if the lyrics were more well-written it would be a 10/10. 3. scratchers need to stop hosting bcs or any comp if they're gonna take half a year to post results. i'm pretty sure most ppl join comps for the prizes (usually fllws or hearts), and it's super frustrating when you put in hours of work on a bnnr and not get anything in return (it's a different story if you just simply didn't place.) on that note, you also shouldn't host a comp if you're not even gonna use the 1st place entry. like huh? it's so unfair and disappointing to the winner(s). 4. katseye is overrated. BOOM. i said it. they have what, less than 20 songs? (not including remixes.) and most of their songs aren't even that good. i feel like if they weren't under hxg or related to the kpop industry they wouldn't be nearly as popular. 5. everything about katseye is so unhealthy. the members do not deserve this type of treatment. manon has been gone for nearly 7 months and she's probably not coming back. sophia is also on hiatus. megan has stopped taking place in the group's activities twice now. the girls are getting more s3xualized day by day, i mean just look at the difference between the debut and touch mvs and the hootie frutti mv. yes, they're grown adults and allowed to do this type of stuff, but the majority of eyekons are under 13 years old which is insane for a group with such a mature concept. they're also overworked and hated asf. this needs to stop. tbh, i would be happy for them if they disbanded and pursued their solo careers. 6. blackpink should disband. they've released two comebacks as a group in the last 4 years and both mvs used a lot of ai. there was no choreo in go, it was fully english, and both cbs had an empty chorus. don't get me wrong, i personally LOVE empty choruses but it shows how lazy yg is and how he doesn't care about his groups other than babymonster. if blackpink disbands all four members can go off very well as soloists. 7. i don't like meovv's music 8. it's very annoying when ppl use transitions that take AGES to switch to the next slide in their projos. most ppl in this generation (like me) have short attention spans and do NOT want to wait 3 seconds in between each slide. sometimes it gets so frustrating that i have to go inside the project and change the code so the transition only lasts like, 0.2 seconds. don't use long transitions guys, im begging u 9. scr not telling u what the b word is in your desc and you have to find it manually...AND 90% OF THE TIME I CAN'T FIND IT TTTTTTTT like scr i swear im not putting whatever word you're implying on purpose..if you could just tell me what that word is that would be great and so much less time consuming :D 10. hearts2hearts is one of the funniest kpop groups ever. I SWEAR i'm not glazing! their humor and unseriousness is part of the reason they're my fav kpop group. if you don't believe me watch the iconic power race or their funny moments compilation 11. ppl who use "it's just my opinion" as an excuse for hate are such a pain in the neck. like NO, saying "xxx is a flop and will never release good music" is different from "xxx's music is not for me and i don't like their concept"... 12. i actually don't care if an idol lip syncs UNLESS they're just sitting there or doing a very easy choreo. it's totally understandable if they're doing a difficult choreo that requires a lot of their energy, cuz if you're singing live for that it's gonna be quite challenging. but if you're not doing anything physically and STILL lip syncing? that's a whole different story. 13. i don't like rv's music 14. ppl who say they'll cry for days if a group disbands are overreacting...sure i'll be sad but i won't break down in tears 15. i miss lsrfm's old music. hits like antifragile, unforgiven and literally all their old bsides were PERF for me. i just don't like their more recent songs like boompala, spaghetti, hot and celebration
