It was followed by subtle tremors, the waves kicked up in intensity, the government evacuated locals, they thought a high-magnitude earth quake was coming... No it was something just as bad, but not the same. People left behind or that weren't evacuated in time saw a black and green mostly reptilian but amphibious theropod-built creature arise from the pacific... It's mouth exhaled smog, as the city would slowly be clouded in a fog of toxic, flammable gas. It was not ignited so locals thought it could not breathe fire. Eventually the thing jumped high into the sky, likely 60 feet into the air, landing on the golden gate bridge, causing an extreme tremor, small shockwave, and the golden gate bridge to become unstable. Before it tugged at a wire, causing the bridge to become further unstable and collapse in on itself. Hatchet Face arose from the rubble.... The military finally begun to call in armed forces. First it was tanks and armed men... Those did nothing, witnesses and survivors claim that the creature grabbed the tanks and squashed soldiers with them, or threw them into each other.... And on occasion a building would be catching a stray. When the government noticed it did not work, they tried mortars.... Those had some effectiveness... But with the smog it was impossible to see, they finally tried with the air force... The air force was quite effective, landing good hits. But once again the smog made it hard to aim, after 5 hits from missiles Hatchet Face roared, running into the pacific ocean. Never to be seen again.... [for now]. The total destruction was 150 miles of land. 520 people lost their lives, and 2500 were injured. This day is currently marked as the most absurd, confusing tragedy.
