Some of the significant Sentry characters(descriptions below). Also some simplified lore A Sentry is a soldier that works under the government, and is made up of conscripts/draftees and volunteers. Teenagers can be drafted into service through academic failure, adults through failure to meet work quotas, and politicians through falling out of political favor. There are two types of Sentries, Wall Guardians and Rail Runners. Wall Guardians protect Citadel walls and maintain order within them, while Rain Runners board trains to protect the cargo from the mutants that roam the frozen wastelands that lay outside of civilization. The trains are needed to feed the citizens of the various scattered Citadels, and leave every week. The demand for new Rail Runners is high, due to the casualty rate. (These are all nicknames, not actual names) Junior: Blonde teenage girl, 2nd on the right. Has been a Sentry Rail Runner for about a year, with 23 successful runs and 104 Shrieker kills. She is considered a veteran Runner. Ace: Teenage boy on the far right. Brand new to the military, got drafted into Sentry work because of a failed school final exam. He just happened to not be lucky enough to avoid Rail Running. his is on his first run and had yet to kill a Shrieker yet. Chip: Big soldier in the center. Likes to gamble, but likes to shift it in his favor first. Joined the Rail Runners because it paid better than his original job. Has 7 successful runs and 51 kills. Zero: Soldier on 2nd on the left. Served inside the walls as a Sentry for 3 years, with strings being pulled to keep him there. He was the perfect poster boy, but is now forced to be a Rail Runner after his father fell out of political favor. Zero runs and zero kills. Sparky: woman furthest on the right. Failed her work quota after the death of one of her children, and was drafted into service. Hates the government, but needs the money and safety it provides for her remaining child. She has survived 3 runs and has gotten 9 kills.
Real ball knowers know who Sparky's head design is based off of Huge inspiration off of Xenomorphs(and a little Tyranid) for the Shrieker design(hidden in project right now). Sparky has her own unique eyes, which I made to make her look older than Junior. Working?
