Newspapers, ads, and protests scream that the British actions prove Western imperialism is alive and malicious. “Look what they do to Yugoslavia for standing up for itself. If we remain divided, they will destroy us one by one!” This is causing people across the region to rally around the flag, with movements advocating for total unification with Yugoslavia beginning to rapidly grow in Croatia, Bosnia, and North Macedonia (mostly run by those who are staunchly Pro-Union). Meanwhile, hundreds or even thousands of Yugoslav citizens are arriving at the borders completely empty-handed after being cruelly expelled from the UK. These families are appearing on the national news every night, sparking massive domestic outrage over the blatant discrimination against all Yugoslav citizens no matter their ethnicity. In response, all frozen British assets are to be officially liquidated as a matter of proportional retaliation. Under a new emergency state decree, 100% of these liquidated assets will be directly handed over to the impacted families to help them settle back down, secure housing, and rebuild their lives in Yugoslavia. Trade shall begin shifting towards our unlikely friendship in Iberia.
