The Armed Forces are expanding total active-duty personnel across all branches to 200,000 active troops, backed by 230,000 active reservists. (Expected to take like 4-5 months though) and over 1,000,000 reservists (following Total People’s Defense, while following the Swiss/Yugoslav model where once training is completed, they head back to civilian life until emergency mobilization is declared) Simultaneously, a sweeping industrialization initiative begins today. State-of-the-art foundries are opening across the nation, creating thousands of new factory jobs for our citizens and rapidly scaling the production of both civilian goods and domestic military equipment. From Belgrade to Skopje, local newspapers run by Serbian, Macedonian, Bosnian, and Croatian voices are spinning out a unified message. A small but growing minority of people rally around a new movement, calling for unification with Yugoslavia, citing “We call upon all member states of the Balkan Customs Union to unify with Yugoslavia! We must stand together, mobilize, and crush the imperialist threat at home!” in newspapers, protests, and ads.
