EN ESPAÑOL: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1378345567/ HIGH SCORE: 24 (me) Welcome to Maa's Cowboy Hoedown: Summer Showdown! This is a sequel to my older game, Maa's Cowboy Hoedown. Have fun! Post your high score in the comments. Oh, and report any glitches there, too. HOW TO PLAY (single-player) You are Maa, the Hero of Aati, who works to save the kingdom from invasion by the evil Breaker Kingdom. Recently, the Aati Intelligence Bureau has noted signs of Breaker Kingdom activity in the nation of Osihoma. You came there to stop them. But, now that you're here, they've released an ultimatum. They will only surrender... if you beat them in dancing???? When you walk up to a 'hoedown' with an enemy, the wind will blow. However, eventually, a sign will come down. Prepare yourself when you see this! After some time, the sign will flip over, and music will start playing. You need to press space (or click your character) quickly! Strike a dance move before the enemy does! But if you let the enemy dance before you- or you dance too early- then you will be defeated. See how many enemies you can defeat! There are also some distractions to keep you from telling when the 'Hoedown' sign comes down- these are anvils, tumbleweed, and sandstorms. Don't be fooled! HOW TO PLAY (multiplayer) Player 1 is Maa, player 2 is Neferet. You two are, for fun, fighting each-other in a dance-off. Wait until the 'hoedown' sign comes down and turns around, and the ragtime music starts playing, and then press the button to strike a dance move before your partner does! Press 'space' to dance if you're Maa, and press 'Z' to dance if you're Neferet. If you are playing mobile you can also click your character instead. You will also be punished for dancing too early. There are five rounds to decide the champion. In the third round, smoke will come out of the train, and in the fifth round, you will go through a tunnel. Good luck!
WHAT'S NEW? -A multiplayer mode was added. -The hoedown sign has been optimised for performance when on mute. -New backgrounds were added. -Various pieces of art and music were changed (but that's not 'new', really). CREDITS (Sound) Credit to Scott Joplin for the 'Maple Leaf' song, as well as 'The Ragtime Dance', which plays when a player dances prematurely in the final round of multiplayer.
