edit: this isn’t about lilus, but this is some info about them here and their response from their friend. please refrain from talking about lilus on this project, as it’s not meant to be targeted to them. https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1378202986/ notice: this is NOT targeted at lilus. i do not know if the claims are true, and i hope they are not. im just putting out a message to everyone about how we need to be better. lilus’s situation was just the thing that initiated this project and for me to create it, but this should’ve been posted and brought up ages ago, even before blossom first appeared. hi everyone, im pretty disappointed right now. i just heard about the whole @xxlilusxx thing, and honestly im so disappointed in them right now. i really hope that it’s not true or that they can admit or post something about it. but honestly its not about them. its the fact that i’ve seen this happen so many times. someone traces, becomes someone else, becomes rude from fame, and so much more. we need to be better. we need to not trace. we need to not lie. just because we are online and no one “knows” who we are, does that mean we can say things, be things, do things we would never do in person? no, and it shouldn’t even come to our minds. we should not be doing this. no one should be doing this. and i’m thankful, i really am for the people who aren’t this. who don’t trace, who are kind, who don’t lie about their identity and who they are. thank you if you are one of those people. anyway, i don’t have much more to add other then im just upset. please, be better everyone. don’t lie, dont fake who are, just be yourself. whenever you do that, you hurt the people you love (friends) the people who love you (fans + friends) the people who looked up to you (fans, and you’re teaching them that what your doing is “okay” because the person they looked up to is doing it and it’s “okay!”) people who passed by your profile. because now, everyone’s going to look at you and say “they traced. they lied. they were mean.” do not do that to yourself. you know if you’re wrong. “but i need to just buckle down! i can’t let them know what i did! i wont be able to not get in trouble!” then say it yourself. don’t wait for someone to accuse you and call you out. call YOURSELF out. say I did this. don’t say “i would never!” because you know you did. admit your mistakes, and be better. that’s all you can do if you’ve don’t anything bad. admit what your doing is wrong and be better. we need to be better.
