If the computer turns off while she's in it, she essentially goes into a coma until it's turned back on. She's in a coma for, like, five years. Then, the same day Scott Lang comes back from the quantum realm, he checks his email, hoping that Hope might still be alive somehow and just didn't let him out for some reason, he meets Cinder, who's in her computer form, Ashy. Scott, who is dumb enough to not consider that she might be a virus or whatever, lets her out using the code (R3L3453), and then she helps save the world and stuff.
