It's been a little while since my last song, and I felt nice and recharged to make a new one. It's a little repetitive, so I made it shorter than most of my songs, but I'm really proud of the percussion layering in this. This song was inspired by the likes of half•alive, Four Seconds Ago, and Mutemath. I hope you enjoy :D This is the first song I've made in college! Title: Illuminate Artist: @finnagin5 Song length: 2:17 Genre: Alt Pop or Indie Electronic or something Key: F# Tempo: 140 Time signature: 4/4 Production time: 6 hours Software: FL Studio 2026 Inspirations: "Make of it" by half•alive: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/youtube/p3VO5HSvRKQ "Listening Post Alpha" by Four Seconds Ago: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/youtube/NfDTsHRLYX4 (This one was accidental) "Kings" by Mutemath: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/youtube/gEjUHndBdaw I guess this is a sort of theme/vibe song for a new character I came up with. It's a teenage superhero girl who has gray skin and glowing eyes and uses bursts of light to move really fast, jump really high, and fight thugs and stuff.
