She supposed it's about time she really takes her time to think about it. Not like she hadn't been thinking about it for a while. The cool ocean water would gently tap her fluffy paws everytime a tiny little wave would rise further upon the shore that belonged to her clan. It was something she found relaxing, a thing that helped her think through things. Ivypaw spoke to Jellyfishpaw about it, and ever since that day, it hadn't left her skull. Was this the missing piece she sensed? Being a tomcat? Ivypaw had been trying to figure out what exactly caused that whole feeling that she wasn't herself and only recently did the whole calling her a she-cat start feeling off. Like it wasn't right. Like they weren't even referring to /her/. Something she excused as maybe just overthinking, but that wasn't it, was it? The yellow she-cat leaned closer to the water, just to get a better look at her own reflection. Taking in a deep breath, she rose to her paws, lightly pawing at the water infront of her. She-cat. It wasn't right. It wasn't /her/. Jellyfishpaw said that her transition to a she-cat made her happier than ever, so maybe... Ivypaw could try being referred to as a tomcat from now on. And /finally/, feel like she--, no. /He/, was truly himself. ⸻⸻⸻⸻ Ivypaw will from now on be referred to using he/him pronouns in any new threads. Please do not say anything potentially offensive within these comments or even in general. It will be reported. Ivypaw will let family members know about his transitioning asap! If you're a friend of Ivys and you'd like a short thread of him telling your oc, just let me know. ^^
