Galanta. Perfection shall be impossible. Only growth shall be achieved. The 2nd gen Galanta was trying to ride the wave of success that the 1st gen had, and its results were interesting to say the least. Rebel didn't have long to make a 2nd gen, and due to design mistakes, (lots of them because its Rebel), the car shown at the 2003 Scratch Auto Show was a Frankenstein of parts. The engine was the engine for the production car, but many elements such as under body and interior parts were borrowed from the previous gen or other models entirely. Its showing was an embarrassment for the company as big names such as Vortex were there (they were there trust trust). The production model however did do well enough for Rebel to keep it until 2008, when the new Moxiss would debut. The "budget supercar" aesthetic that the 1st gen went for was only emphasized not only with the design, but the ads too. The slogan for the car was, "Drive good on a budget with the Galanta." Specs: 3 liter inline 6 making 368 HP Top speed: 178 MPH 0-60: 4.9 seconds Base price: $45,689 (adjusted for inflation)
