TW: Themes of depression, prejudice and discrimination. 1: Katseye is HORRIBLE. You can’t say otherwise. They performed at the KID’S CHOICE AWARDS in their GNARLY era (which personally, I found to be the least kid-friendly) and generally, their talent wasn’t even used in a good way, Daniela has an amazing voice for something calmer, but NOOOOO. God forbid. 2: Diagnosis or not, you can’t blame things on mental disorders and expect everyone to forgive you immediately. This is especially the case if you did something horrible. 3: “Trans people are going to take over sports” trans people are DYING. Literally, 40+% try to leave this world before others do it for them. Less than 0.005% of players are trans. God forbid a fully transitioned, female-functioning trans woman is in your game (which you couldn’t even tell was trans in the first place). 4: On the topic of trans people, transitioning shouldn’t be a general plot. It could be on top of finding oneself, but if their entire story revolves around them being trans and literally nothing else? I’m dropping the media. I kinda feel like it’s transphobia or queer bait. The main character just becomes flat and 1 dimensional because their only issue is “I’m trans, and this is all because I’m trans and not because of my actions.” EIGHGH… 5: If we have to have people to be “artificial buddies” and if we have people who feel like they can’t talk to anyone ever in their entire life, if we have people who talk to AI as a friend, if we have people who isolate themselves, we have messed up as a human race. We are naturally social creatures and depriving someone of social interaction is the worse punishment one can give and is a reason why solitary confinement is such a harsh punishment. 6: We shouldn’t isolate people “because their mental health is in danger”. Instead, we should probably see why they feel this way instead of trying to push it down and give a “one cure fits all” sort of solution. 7: Most governments aren’t doing what’s better for the people, but what’s better for their own beliefs. 8: Beliefs shouldn’t come before basic human respect. If I want to be called Simon, you are going to call me Simon. It doesn’t matter if I sound like a girl or boy or go against your religion. I still deserve basic respect. 9: Transphobia, homophobia, racism, ablism etc. Is the belief that some humans aren’t human and don’t deserve human rights. It is stupid and shouldn’t be a belief. 10: Christianity is one of the most constrictive religions and is genuinely used for more harm than good at this point. It is only safe to assume Christianity is scary until proven otherwise. This goes for many other religions, not just Christianity. This is MY personal fear. It's irrational, I know. I'm friends with Christians even though our values clash. I'm just scared of a lot of religion. 11: You shouldn’t try to convert someone after they’ve already said they don’t want to be converted or have said they are a part of another religion. I don’t care if it’s in your scripture that you have to, just don’t do it to us. 12: There’s a massive exclusion issue in the world right now, but no one wants to talk about it because it doesn’t affect them, even though there are some people who believe they would be better off if they just weren’t human, that’s how bad it is. 13: Parents taking out hoodie strings is completely valid, especially when the kid has shown to be depressive, but parents baby proofing the house shouldn’t be something done. I can tell you this much, it just shows you don’t trust your kid enough. 14: 988 is the worst hotline to ever exist. Not only does it use AI for texting and chatting, but it also hangs up on you when you call, takes forever to respond, etc. It does a terrible job while it says it’s “one of the best” mental health organizations. Not to mention it only repeats your message back to you to “make you feel better”. It’s more invalidating than it is helpful. 15: You only miss someone when they’re gone for good. 16: I genuinely hate people who go “I like you around” even though they have never seen that person ever. At this point, you’re lying to help someone even though it only hurts them more knowing that it was so sad someone they didn’t know had to say it. Genuinely, bro.
+ 17: Some people’s opinions don’t matter. Not because their opinions stink or the source isn’t credible, but because no one is willing to listen to them and that no one cares. 18: The racism in the Vocaloid community NEEDS to stop. It is absolutely crazy the amount of people who don’t listen to a song because the creator / Vocaloid was black or of a race other than white or Asian. 19: Tutorials ARE needed to be good at art, but it depends on the tutorial. As a cartoonist, I still used the fundamentals I leaned in my drawing class, and continue to get better in the drawing class. You need basic fundamentals like how lighting or shading works, how forms exist, particular techniques and color theory, etc. While you can learn this yourself, it is so much easier to get a tutorial. 20: People show prejudice against bad mental health. Some people think it’s less of an issue, or is a nonissue, but I genuinely believe it’s an issue. It might not be as big as an issue as queerphobia, racism, etc., but it is a big enough issue that it kills. 21: Lumping AI bros with people who are addicted to AI to cope genuinely is vile. One has an addiction, one just overglazes it. One literally finds it out of their power to stop and could experience withdrawals, one just says it makes their life easier. AI is bad, but saying it’s someone’s choice to use it when it’s nuanced is crazy. 22: AI is needed for some disabilities, especially hearing disabilities for life captioning. But sure, ALL AI is bad, even the ones that help eliminate cancers. Just say “AI art”, which applies to every art. 23: “Art” is not just visual art. It’s audio art, it’s speech, it’s writing, it’s everything under the sun that requires human creativity and passion. This includes styling, coding, math, etc. 24: You support artists until they’re new and therefore bad. It’s absolutely horrible, especially with the Yumeshipper situation. It’s sad. 25: “Leaders of the industry” when they can only songwrite and don’t try to produce themselves. “Leaders of the industry” when they don’t bother to learn from other artists. Do you see where I’m coming from? You can’t call someone a leader when they aren’t willing to learn. 26: Genuinely, this is kinda personalized to me, but I feel like I just don’t matter anymore in the Scratch music industry. Like I get that there are people that matter more than I do, but I’m just totally forgotten 98% of the time. I’m not mad, but it goes to show how hyper focused the community is on a few select amount of people. 27: Ed Sheeran was never anything special. He told you what to think and girls were absolutely all over him. He isn’t even that pretty. 28: You shouldn’t vent on someone’s vent post. 29: There should be a block button on every social media or online site. I mean every media, including Scratch. Especially if Scratch is pointed towards kids. Not to mention how the reporting system is (it doesn’t even let you report half the time). 30: If you really cared, you would make someone feel loved.
