.( Username and Info ). @wolfwolf225 Howdy, the name’s Wolfie, recently returning to Scratch for, you guessed it, roleplays. My earliest (and also most prominent roleplay) that I joined was Impending Peril in Feb 2022, hosted by Silver and ending indefinitely in… also 2022 (the month being May), lol. From then on, I came back to the many reboots and other original rps that they and others hosted. I also dabbled in 1-on-1’s as I drifted from group rps. In terms of experience, I’m reasonably good in that aspect, having done many of them in ones like IP, plus becoming a moderator at some point. I’ve also been keeping up—sporadically—with my writing, so uhhh, there’s that Right now, I’m free enough that I can consistently roleplay with no issues. I’d put it at an 8.5/10 I’m applying for Rabbitkit (minor thing, I’ve been calling him Seabunny’kit in my head, if that’s ok) (update: with the results closed, I’m changing my option to Skykit) AMAB, straight — .( Character/Personality ). Skykit is a calm soul, one who follows life’s current with very little a fuss. It’s honestly an adequate summarisation of his character; a fella who runs on pure vibes, silent about the motions he faces. Beside his family, Skykit runs on a high. He adores his siblings, the warmth and joy that follows. Without them, he’d be a lonely soul, a stranded fish on the shore with no way back to the sea. Yes, with all things positive, the negative follows close. Skykit, as calm as he is, has a rich inner world not many get a chance to pry upon. Even with his quiet extrovertism, it can at times be… lonely, he supposes, on his distant island; split by the waves he cast. But hey, he’s only a kit. A slightly observant, ruminative, kit, yes, but how much could he uncover? So don’t be surprised that even he holds a slight self-serving/ troublesome self esteem. Even if he doesn’t talk, or just… do much in general, or *is* aware the world *doesn’t* totally revolve around him, he’s a kit Depending on how you view him, Skykit can seem odd. He isn’t one to easily open up to others, keen on freezing and contemplating on the perfect line to say, and by the time he comes to a decision, he thinks it too late to speak at all. That, and his disjointed words (a habit when you talk more in your mind than out loud) means not everycat… gets him. And he doesn’t see why he needs to compromise — .( Fun Facts/Notes ). Very hip, one to go with the flow, he’s lax and doesn’t make much an attempt at things he has no primary incentive, motivation in the gutter Note, he has no charm lmao, or social skills—he doesn’t bother. The only reason he’s appealing is because for his lack of words, his actions are strangely endearing A quiet extrovert, but loud and comfortable with those he’s close to. Mainly his family; they’re the cats he’d know the most obligatory Casual, hands off, not at all firm. Watches more than does He speaks in single syllables. And hums. And sounds. Anddd short phrases. He’s mainly reactionary in conversations, taking the back burner; not that he tries not to keep up, but he finds it a lot and exhausting. His inner voice is more windy, vocal, and open, with a simple elegance to it in his choice of words As a kit: He’s much more open than he is as an adult—curled in a soft shell as all children are, wide eyed and innocent. At this stage, Sky thinks, a lot, and is curious to a fault, but his outward demeanour contradicts his inner self Knows not what a sleep schedule is. A slight naivety and a poor hold on consequences does that I’m planning to leave his overall arc to the wind, but as a tribute to all teenagers, don’t we love slight rebelliousness/spice :3 An artsy, dreamer fella. Putting the k-pop aesthetic to full use, heh .[ New Facts ]. He’s polite now :D. Very serious with his sirs and ma’ams and manners; can seem a doormat depending on the cat Very slouchy and lanky for a SC. Walks in a prowl most of the time. — .( Research [Slight rambling incoming]). .( Vision problems/Refractive Errors ). In this category, there are two types of eye disorders that can affect one’s vision. Skykit is in the refractive error side, which includes condition’s like near/farsightedness (respectively, one can only see close to them, and one can only see far from them. For him, it’s mainly farsightedness), crossed eyes (mostly when he’s not concentrating), and lazy eyes. He has the first two, and lazy eye (mainly his left). Skykit has to strain his eyes when looking in far distances, actively squinting/concentrating as his eyes tend to drift, and his vision is blurry. Basically genetic blurry vision all round that’s worse with far details As such, he comes to stare in general directions rather than anywhere specific. If he’s lucky, he can get general eye positions, but unless someone’s staring at him up close, he’s missing it.
(cont) It leads to him further doubling into his mind, as while the outside is intangible; his inside is not. .( Essential tremors ). Essential tremors is a neurological condition that causes parts like your hands, head, legs, and trunk (commonly just the hands) to shake rhythmically/chronically—common in older ages, but isn’t restricted to a singular group. Although these tremors are common at birth, the severity can increase, progressing and interfering with daily life. There isn’t one singular known cause of ET, but among them, it’s possible that there isn’t proper communication between the cerebellum and other parts of the brain. As per my experience, I’m largely attributing Skykit’s ETs to a neurological/genetic issue from birth (only if the owner of Barnacleheart is ok with it) His voice quivers, and his words come out slightly stilted from essential tremors, further prompting him to silence. All these physical attributes are more a frustrating nuisance than totally debilitating. Symptoms include an unsteady gait that will gradually improve (though the shakiness would stay approximately the same), tremors more discernible in action, even idle movements. Fortunately, with concentration, he can sort of control it. Minute head bobbing, and difficulty doing normal tasks like grasping items securely. The tremors are largely at his left forearm, and both paws. An after effect of the broader neurological issue is that he has brain fog from mild cognitive impairment (from ✨birth✨), which affects his train of thought. It is caused neurologically/genetically, with a little dose of constricted blood vessels at the temporal/frontal lobe (I’m repeating things a bunch, but the gist is thinking, memory, and minor erratic behavioural problems. Also, as he grows, his brain will be finding new paths for the blood supply), having him trail behind others in communication. Broski will be there staring blankly while he futilely tries to remember what the convo is even about. His thoughts tend to be sluggish due to the disorder. This will eventually clear up .[ Sources ]. https://www.childrenshospital.org/conditions-treatments/vision-problems https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/symptoms/brain-fog https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/health/conditions-and-diseases/essential-tremor-disorder https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/essential-tremor/symptoms-causes/syc-20350534 https://tremor.org.uk/essential-tremor — .( RP Example ). The waves are lapping, as they always are. Probably always would be, for a long, long while. It’s what he gets from the adults around him anyways. But he can’t see them, not now. Because he’s a kit, and kits aren’t big enough, strong enough to go out. It sucks, but Skykit only has the option to think about it. How the waters would shine with golden-white light, the bouncing rays that would go to night and day and night, again and again. Skykit yawns, turning on his back, sticking his paw out. Maybe if he closes his eyes, he can imagine he’s touching the light. So he does. His tired eyelids close with little drama, and eventually, he’s in the strange place of waking and sleep, like he’s caught up in a flurry of bubbles and fish. He heard his parent say that, too. He’s also seen them, sometimes, afar. Ah well, this is getting boring. Like he never fell asleep at all, Skykit smoothly flips over, giving a delayed yawn that has his tongue touching his upper fangs. Perhaps one of his siblings are also decided to be about. That’ll be nice—the minute’s were getting a bit boring again. — .( Codeword ). If a rabbit’s to play a piccolo, what would be its tune? (Thought I’d do a funny and incorporate Rabbit’kit’s character into the line. Necessary, no, but why not?) New: The sky tune’s like the strings of a guitar — .( Music Themes ). Suzume by RADWIMPS (feat. Toaka) (A 5/5. The melody captures his insulation well, caught in a gentle pace while things pass his way. And if you twist things a bit, it has this kind of journey over the destination motif that also fits like a glove) with a tinge of Punk Tactic’s by Joey Valence and Brae (a ⅗—fits the loud, rambunctious aspect of him, and matches how I’m imagining him by his siblings) and Structure by Odd Sweetheart (⅗ for his habit of sticking to the familiar) followed by... Flight of the Crows by Jhariah (⅗ if you squint. A tiny what if critique, with his slight awareness calling out his passivity. This bad boy can fit so many theme songs in him) — .( Final Thing ). I’ve been building a lot for this fella, but I’m really trying *not* to build the overall trajectory of his life.
