I realize you guys don’t see much of the cats I draw lol so here is my style if you were wondering. Anyways, CONGRATS ON 5K BIRB!!! You totally deserve it ^^ I just had to enter for one of your designs, they were all so scrumptious looking and this one in particular spoke to me. Below is some info on the character and the processes. Info: Name - Bria Pronouns - She/They Orientation - AroAce Backstory: Bria is the kind of cat other cats don’t mess with. She grew up in a rough alley behind a flower shop, surrounded by pretty things so unlike their life. She learned early that being cute didn’t protect you, especially when their mother died at the hands of a gang of cats when they were young. Bria built their reputation with sharp claws, a sharp appearance, and a seemingly defiant attitude. The walls she built around her helped her feel safe. From the way she carried herself to the way she styled her fur. Most cats think they’re trouble. Some think they’re dangerous. She lets them think that. But the truth? Bria has a soft spot that they guard harder than anything. She’ll deny it, but she secretly watches over the kittens in her neighborhood. Bria pretends they’re just “passing by,” but she’s the reason they never get picked on. She’ll act annoyed if anyone thanks her, flicking their tail and rolling their eyes, but she’ll also check on them again the next night. They just don’t want anyone else to suffer the way they did. When they were young, Bria and their mother would go to a park covered in flowers no matter the season and play together in the petals. Returning there opens her heart and reveals that secret side of her. Bria’s biggest flaw is that they don’t know how to let anyone close. They’re loyal, protective, and surprisingly gentle, but they hide it behind sarcasm and swagger. She’s afraid that if she ever lets someone see her softness, they’ll use it against her. 1.
