Because of the recent shortages of electricity and water we create a large dam and water collecting site by the ocean that processes sea water into distilled water that can be used for anything water related. The dam can also be used to provide a little bit of power. We also open up a nuclear power plant or two which will solve the electricity shortage. If that's still not enough we can open up more water processing stations on the part of Texas that borders the ocean. Finally we build a large data center to be used for a whole plethora of purposes. Due to our thriving economy our budget is huge and we can afford to spend a lot of money. We also make some propaganda or something to keep our civilians happy. Basically we can just build more power plants and water processors until the shortage is fixed. We’ve also been purchasing fresh water in bulk from California!
