It is a bad month for Lt. Gen. Hedge. With winter setting in, he is racing to get the rest of the infrastructure on the PSC before colder temperatures make it harder for workers to work. So when High Command told him PAST was getting a budget cut of 200 million, he was devastated. The VAB was constructed, but little to no machines had been installed for rocket facilitation. The Launch Control Center was not even done being constructed, as well as the fuel storage (or whatever gemini said it was supposed to be-). In addition, many workers have left to enlist in the Army, and some of PAST's research facilities have been seized by the government and turned into wartime factories. Hedge believes that if he doesn't act soon, PAST may be disbanded, leaving the UCP in the dust of its Space Race neighbors.
