After the collapse of the world, the people of Iran decided to stand up and fight for their historical glory. Overthrowing the Clergy, they brought to power a new Shah, a Shah that promised to restore the glory of the Persian Empire and bring stability to the Middle East while doing it. Naturally, this got them a lot of support.
