Yesterday, (I woke up sick today. just go with it thanks mwah) I grabbed Finn from the paddock and decided to do some polework with her! Im hoping I can make Finn into an XC horse. It'll take time of course because she's never been jumped, but that's why we're starting with the basics. She first smelled the poles and side-eyed them, but after that she was fine with them! We did walk, trot, and canter over them, and she bumped them a few times during the trot. It was nothing painful for her, and because she's also just learning I let it slide.
