Exactly 25 years ago, on September 11th, 2001, the Islamic Extremist Group Al Qaeda launched a terrorist attack on New York, New York in the United States. That terrible day, many couragous firefighters crossed the threshold of those fated buildings, fully aware it was highly likely they would never return. Their sacrifice cannot be commended in any way currently expressable. All you can do is... ...never forget.
Credit to @OneWorld_ for the code, the plane design, and the funeral/mourning scene, as well as the thumbnail (though it is almost identical to the former). 343 FDNY (Fire Department of New York) members died in 9/11 while on active duty. 400 more have passed away in more recent years due to illnesses directly linked to smoke and toxin inhalation in the attacks. If anyone is confused, the scene after the attacks is a firefighter jumping out of the firehouse window (it was an attempt to replicate superman). [Special Edition] projects are projects where multiple OneWorlders take on (make projects showcasing) the same topic. Ex: @OneWorld_ traces the cause of 9/11 to a general hate of different countries and beliefs, and explores how it manifested in many different "categories" of people that day. @--OneWorld-- tackles the general chain of events through the point of view of a newscaster and a grieving woman. I (@-One-World-) pay a tribute to the sacrifice of FDNY members through this very project.
