Liminal spaces are places that feel strangely familiar yet unsettling, often because they are normally meant to be busy but are shown empty. Dreamscapes are imaginary environments that feel like they belong inside a dream. They often combine familiar places with unrealistic or impossible elements, such as endless hallways, floating buildings, strange landscapes, distorted rooms, or unusual skies.
