The winged grandma layed an egg and she waddled home and the next day there was a gosling in the eggshell and she brought it home and put it in a huge hat and gave it birdseed and named it Lorene and she loved the goose and it grew to lay golden eggs. When the goose grew up it was very tall for a goose and it knew English and it was able to reverse the grandma to being 30 and it was apparently immortal. The goose was also highly confused by its sister because they had wings, but they were highly unlike hers. Everyone was confused. Rayne assumed the goose couldn't speak, and she asked why there was a giant goose. The goose said what happened and Rayne flew back home. Later, at Dragonlandia, Rayne had a call from her grandma who said Lorene was missing. "Sorry Reymond, I need to deal with this, Lorene's in trouble" Rayne said, as she walked out the door, not thinking about how much another dragonoid, especially one capable of transformation would help. Rayne decided to look around. Since she and her grandma were half- dragon, they could smell much better, see farther, hear more stuff, and sense magic. She looked in the hat. Nothing. Looked at Lorene's favorite spot, a feather, but nothing else. She caught a trail of magic, and it seemed to come from the goose. She started following it, flying out into the street, dodging cars as she went. The trail went for miles, but she didn't care. Lorene was her only sister, and she would do anything to save her. As she flew, she eventually caught up with the source. It was a white truck, with the words "magical wildlife zoo and circus" on the side. She wanted to fly down there and save Lorene now, but she had to wait. If there were others, she needed to save them from the animal prison too. As she followed the truck, she started getting bored. This was the longest she had ever flown before, and they had crossed the border of Dragonlandia. If any issues arise within the nation, Reymond would have to deal with them, and she wasn't as experienced. Finally, they reached a spot where the truck exited the freeway. As she decended to be able to follow it easier, it turned a sharp corner, causing her to hit a tree. After sorting herself out, she continued following the trail. When the truck stopped, it was the next morning, and there were people carrying Lorene out of the truck. She decided to go home, and she opened a portal. When she came back, this time with a lunch, she hid in the tree she crashed into. She was going to keep an eye on this, and wait until midnight to free Lorene. When midnight came, she pulled out her spear, ready to attack anyone who she needed to, but not wanting to need to attack. As she searched the zoo area, she freed all the creatures, since they were native creatures anyways. She searched the whole area, but didn't find Lorene Bathed in the moonlight, she flew up, and looked at the area. There was no way she missed something, unless they had illusion magic, but she would have sensed that. "She will be fine" she thought "our whole family is a line of immortals, I just hope I can find her." As she decended, she heard a shriek, as something darted past her ear. Scared that they noticed her, she flew away, hoping she could get Reymond over here to help her She tried to open a portal, but then she noticed what that shriek was. As the first ripple appeared, a net was launched, and this time, it didn't miss! When she hit the ground, she was brought into a basement of sorts. Those pesky goose thieves! As she struggled to break free, she remembered the spear. She stuffed it in her pocket dimension just before they took it, baffling them. They obviously thought that dragonoids couldn't use magic, a belief from hundreds of years ago, and one that she started to keep them from asking her to do it. "At least they underestimate me" she thought, pulling out her spear again, and cutting the netting. She walked deeper, following her sister's scent. As she went, she noticed skeletons, coming from a vast array of creatures. Creeped out, she decided to get through this area as fast as possible. After exiting the skeleton room, she saw a few more creatures, sad things, they looked as if they hadn't eaten enough. She pulled out her lunch, and gave some of it to them As she continued to decend, she decided to use illusion magic to conceal herself. When she got lower, she saw a beautiful white doorway, gilded, and shining. She slipped next to the door, and listened in on what was going on. "I'm not laying ANY golden eggs for you thugs! If I did that, you would torture even more animals, forcing them to join your STUPID circus! The Lingering Storm? How idiotic of a name!" Another voice, cold and sharp, said "You WILL lay more eggs, we caught your sister." And how would you manage to do that? She is queen of Dragonlandia, and she fought in every war she has reigned during. If you could do that, why not use that to- oh wait, why would I give you MORE ideas"
"Anyways, you little circus members may think that you can trick me like that, but you are seriously wrong" Lorene responded, "she may have summoned an illusion to trick you into thinking you caught her, so you would give your location." "NONSENSE! Everyone knows that dragonoids can't cast spells!" He barked, unnoticed of the ripples of magic as she stepped through the metal door. "Also, you may want to know that your door is only a barrier for you mortals" Slipping through the door, Rayne, still invisible, snuck through, and put her armor on within 3 seconds. "There happens to be a reason I'm the 'phantom knight' and you seem to have forgotten. Maybe you need to remember." She said, shimmering into existence just by Lorene's cage. She pulled out her spear, and shattered the glass with a blast of magic. The guards tried to open the door, but it was locked, and they surrendered. Suddenly, she felt a new magical signature, startling her. "Oh, its just Reymond, she must be coming with that support I requested." she stated, calming Lorene, who had never met the dragonling before, but had heard of them from Rayne quite often. As the support marched in, arresting the guards, Rayne took the leader's keys, and walked through the door again. Lorene, wanting to help, followed, leaving the ringleader locked in the room. As Rayne unlocked the doors to the cages, Lorene waddled them to the exit, leading to the first fresh air that some of them had for months. The cheerful animals wandered in a clearing, waiting for their savior to come out. When Rayne emerged, leading a baby unicorn and a blue flamed Phoenix out the door, she was mobbed by all the grateful creatures. Then she noticed. How was she going to get them all home? She told Reymond to teleport back and get all the rescue trucks they had. The Dragonlandia rescue team was often found near, or slightly over the borders, also in allied nations area, sometimes. It wouldn't be as suspicious as her leading a parade of critters home. So they waited in the clearing, her using concealment magic to hide them from anyone who may find it suspicious. When the trucks came, she led them inside, and made sure they would be comfortable for the ride. She told the trucks to stay for a bit longer, and she used search magic to see if there were any animals left. She detected one, deeper than Lorene was. "Lorene, there's one more!" She said, grabbing Lorene's attention. As they decended, they turned, and went down some more. The walls down here were different, as if from an era long past. As they went down, the two had to cast light magic to even see. When they eventually reached the bottom, there was a dragon, about 3 feet in length. it had iridescent, pink scales, glowing lavender spots going down its back, along its ears, and around its eyes, it also had a stinger at the tip of its tail, and feathered wings. The poor dragon seemed to not be mortal, as it survived this long, yet she didn't want to take any chances. She pulled out a piece of ham, and the dragon snatched it out of her hand, eating it in one bite. She pulled out some more, and the dragon devoured it. Carefully, she lifted the dragon, gently holding it. as she carried the dragon out of there, she gave it another piece of ham. When she tried to place it in the truck, it refused to go in the back, trying to stay with her. "Do you really want to sit in the front with me?" She asked. It nodded, so she sat in the front, and carried it with her. When she asked it for its name, it replied with "b-Buddy," and it fell asleep halfway through the drive to its new home.
