Read this first. After click space. Today my mother picked me up from school early. I didn’t know why. As far as I knew I didn’t have any appointments. While waiting I was confused and worried. My father is in the military so I always worry something will happen. When she arrived my fears only escalated. Her eyes were red and puffy. After checking me out I asked what was happening. She didn’t answer. I asked again my voice shaking. She stopped walking, teared up and looked at me. “Coopers gone”. Cooper is my golden retriever. My dad got him for me when I was 1. She explained while I was at school Dad and my younger brother took Coop for a walk. He’d played with another dog, took a walk, and had a great time. Then he dropped Cooper off at home and took my brother to Home Depot with him. Mom was at an appointment. When Dad got home cooper couldn’t walk. They took him to the vet where he had a seizure. The vet did some x rays. He had a tumor on his spleen and it had burst. He wasn’t getting enough oxygen to the rest of his body. There was nothing anyone could do. He passed away at 11. I got to go see him, but he was already gone.
Cooper passed away right before his 12th birthday. It would have been on September 17. The photo is my dad at the adoption place, (Can’t show my dad for safety reasons). And cooper as a puppy. He was peaceful when he passed away. Happy early birthday Cooper and Rest In Peace. The art isn’t great because I don’t feel like drawing right now…
