Today, so the boys are nice and clean for Kingswood, I had a deeeeeeeeppp cleaning session. I got and put Winter in his stall, while i set everything up. Winter was up first! Then, I got Dancer from his stall after his rest from the XC course run earlier. (And for the record, the brushing desc. is what i did for both) I started with the curry comb, over the rump, belly, neck, around the shoulders, and on the back. Next, I did the dandy brush to get rid of all the rest of the mud on their legs, and near the ears, and also throughout the rest of the body. I then went in with a body brush, and brushed them from head to toe. After that, each of them got a nice facial clean, first with the brush, then I went in with a damp sponge and then dried off with a small, clean towel. I picked snd brushed their hooves, then combed the mane and tail. Both boys were all clean, so I left them in their stalls. They were both really good, considering I tied both crossties to each other, and they were not tied :).
