Today, early in the morning, I layered up, and headed out to do a nice XC course run! The first jump was a little slow, but he still jumped it wonders. The steps were perfect, and he did move up automatically after, which I've been trying to work on. The next one, the log, was very good, but maybe a tad deep. The water was cold, and he was a little reluctant to go in, but a little leg, and he galloped through it just fine. For the corgi jump, he was very brave, because that jump tends to spook horses. On the log oxer, he was speeding up a little, not in a bad way, and wayyy overjumped the oxer, but luckily, I was able to stay on haha. The last jump was also overjumped, but I was sort of expecting it, so it wasn't a big deal, and kind of fun. After that, we passed through a small part of the trails to get back home, and then put him into his stall.
