╭──────────────────────────────╮ | MONKEYTYPE | A typing game made in GoboScript ╰──────────────────────────────╯ NOTE: SOME OF THIS CODE IS AI-ASSISTED, PURELY FOR ENGINES ETC...! After around 7 months of work, Monkeytype is finally here! This project was made almost entirely in Goboscript, and getting everything working has been an absolute grind. There were countless bugs, rewrites, fixes, and moments where I genuinely wanted to throw the whole thing away. But it's finally playable!!! (well, kinda :/) ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ✦ WHAT CAN YOU DO? • Type words as quickly and accurately as possible • Track your WPM • Track your accuracy • Keep an eye on your timer • Make mistakes and see them reflected in your results • Earn tokens from playing • Use the SHOP • Check the leaderboard (REALLY buggy) • View your final results after a test • Change between available test settings • Enjoy menu music :D • And, of course, try to beat your best score! ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ✦ THE GOAL The idea is simple: Type as fast as you can. Make as few mistakes as possible. Improve your score. Then try again. How high can you get your WPM? ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ⚠️ IMPORTANT: ALPHA VERSION This is an ALPHA version. That means there are still LOTS of bugs. Some things may work perfectly. Some things may randomly break. And some features may not work at all. For example, the leaderboard may not work correctly, and there are probably other bugs that I haven't found yet. So if something breaks, don't assume it's your fault! If you find a bug, please tell me in the comments. I'd genuinely like to know about it so I can fix it in a future version. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ✦ PLEASE DO THIS! If you enjoy the project: ♡ Like it ☆ Favorite it > Tell me what you think > Report any bugs you find > Tell me your WPM > Suggest features or improvements Even a simple comment helps a LOT after spending this long working on a project. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ✦ MADE WITH GOBOSCRIPT This project was made using GoboScript, rather than being built normally inside the Scratch editor. It took roughly 7 months to get to this point, and honestly... it was exhausting. There were so many things to build, test, break, fix, and rebuild. So if you like this project, leaving a like or favorite would genuinely mean a lot. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ✦ WHAT'S NEXT? This is only the beginning. There are still bugs to squash, systems to improve, and plenty of things I'd like to add. Your feedback will help decide what gets improved next. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Thanks for checking out Monkeytype! Now stop reading this description... GO TYPE! ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Credits: First and foremost, thank you so much to the OFFICIAL website: monkeytype.com >>> Thanks to for the Goboscript (it seriously made things WAY more easier) And, as always, thanks to my team :'):
