upon arrival on the new world. the dykish explorers discover Topaƞo(tobacco)(yet another drug to be exploited by the dykelanders), gelkorn(corn), and batate(potatos). however, these new lands come with conflict with the natives, who the dykish call the "Katanvolk" and the diseases that they spread to the kolonists, witch then will spread back to the old world upon the explorers arrival back home. particularly a disease dubbed "the reddening" ("geg rodden") after the red marks it leaves on the skin before a sudden death, will start to spread like wildfire back in the mainland once the explorers return.
