The main characters of a series i'm working on: Magway City Museum LORE: Mae Htoo is 18 years old and lived in the small town of Natkan, Magway. Her father is Burmese and her mother is Kachin, so she speaks Burmese, Jingpho and a little English. Mae has a twin sister named May, who she feels really guilty of due to because Mae never got to graduate elemeantry school (it was because May spent three years in Kachin, and their mom did not want May to go to school) Mae did graduate high school as an honor student. Later, Mae and May moved to Naypyidaw to Work at the National Musuem. On the other hand, May was starting secondary school, and May struggled a lot with her schooling. May ends up having a roomate from Rakhine who constantly mocks her. Mae does a good work at the musuem, but she always doubts living in Naypyidaw. She leaves Naypyidaw, without May, and opens her own musuem. Mae got into legal trouble after it is found out that she stole some artifacts from the National Museum. May finds out and Mae gets arrested for 12 years. She came back to her hometown to be a history teacher. Her husband, who's a Kachin man, finds out about the museum expirience of Mae. May returns, finishing her education in high school and college.she got married and has a kid. May eventually does leave the picture to return to her mother. Instead, Mae and her husband become the ones running the museum. The musuem gets shutdown after the controversies behind the artifacts, and Mae had to go back to the old ways of her family
