My entries for @yusaeko 's banner contest!!! Update: entry 2 has been finished ^^ click space to see the next entry! STOP WHY IS THE QUALITY SO BAD </3 (pls check inside the project for a link to the original image, it's MUCH better quality) Also, PLS PLS PLS lmk if there's anything you'd like me to change, because I would much rather know than not... PSA: pls keep in mind I'm a total noob when it comes to making banners <//3 This is literally my second one EVER... if you don't believe me here's proof ;-; https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1242414432 Info about the first entry! - Person in banner is Rihanna! (she looks so gorgeous <3) - Some text overlays (e.g, it girl, By your side) - Your name, Ailyn! + a little message - I made one of Rihanna's photos to look like a polaroid photograph, and also added some writing, including my name and the date this was made! - Some PNGs, including flowers, stamps, a camera and a magnolia branch <3 - I wanted to make this banner with an autumn theme in mind, because it's (finally) September! I incorporated a lot of brown, cream and the background image is one of some trees! - I also wanted to add in a little something personal, so I took a line from a Korean poem and wrote it out in Hangul! It says, "꽃이 져도 나는 너를 잊은 적 없다" , which roughly translates to, "Even when the flowers lost their petals, I have never forgotten you," (it sounds more poetic in Korean TT) - Update: there used to be a small icon with a picture of Nana Hachi, but I changed it to one of Haikyuu, bc I'm not sure if you liked Nana or not ;-; Info about my second entry! - I really wanted to incorporate as many of the webtoons you mentioned, so I added them in the banner by adding photos of them into the photobooth strip + in some picture frames! I can't remember all of them, but there's Daytime in the Bunker, I dare you and (I think) Proof of Dignity! - Because the first entry had a nature theme, I made this one a more city inspired aesthetic, with the background as a photo of some buildings and more modern themed PNGs - It turned out more colourful than I expected and I know you didn't rlly want that <//3 sorry :( - There are some Haikyuu references!! e.g the png of Hinata and the text on the left side, "Inarizaki High" - You mentioned you liked evanescence, so I added a little photo of Amy Lee on an iPod player! ^^ - I did some research into the webtoons you mentioned, and hopefully you'll get the reference I wrote on the note paper from I dare you (I think it's a reference, but if not I'll be so embarrassed TT) Note: this isn't abt the banner in particular but I just wanted to say that the song you mentioned (Ballroom Extravaganza) is actually so good and I've been listening to it for the past 24 hours <3 Ty for exposing me to peak ✅✅✅ Music is Ballroom Extravaganza by DPR IAN
