A simple dance editor, featuring stickman. Add and edit key frames (like poses), and the project will morph between these in sync with the music. Initially, there are 6 demo frames featuring the kriblo dance. Missed it? https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1296387174/ In Playback mode, you can change the music by clicking the upper left or right corners. To toggle to Edit mode, click the lower left corner. In the editor you can: - Move all the nodes on the stickman, to change its pose in each frame (there are no constraints in this version). - Set the current frame by clicking the thumbnails at the top of the screen. - Duplicate the current frame by clicking the "+" icon. Currently, the max number of frames is ten. - Delete the current frame by clicking the "-" icon. - Delete all frames by clicking the trash can in the lower right corner. Reload the project page to restore the kriblo dance. Remix to share your dance. You can either just add and edit frames and change the song playing, and then click remix and share. Or, you can go further, and add music (see below), change colors or other drawing characteristics (you only really need to change that in the Playback sprite), or anything else you come up with. Would be fun to see some creative remixes! If you want to add a song in your remix: - Import the song to Sounds in the Playback sprite. - Find out and add the BPM (beats / minute) of the song, and add it to the "_SONG BPM" list in the Playback sprite. - Decide the frames per beat you want for the song, and add it to the "_SONG FRAMES PER BEAT" list in the Playback sprite. Although, this depends just as much on the animation. - Add zero, or whatever is a suitable animation delay for the song, to the "_SONG OFFSET" list in the Playback sprite. ("Number of songs" is automatically set to the number of items in the list "_SONG BPM") In a remix, you can also program some additional animation features, or add simple tools to calculate poses. Like my custom block "Fix nodes to node in first frame", which I used in my remix "Sticking Alive", to keep the feet in the same position across all frames. All code and art by me (@kriblo). Music: (1) Infamous - Shenseea & Myke Towers (2) Around the world - Daft Punk (3) Passenger - Iggy-Pop.
