Welcome! X3 And, yes, you heard me. I've been writing a story for the past school year (2025-2026) called Stories of Tri and I've written 3 books of it, countless pages of backstories, and a ton of lore. - "And I'm rebooting it! Completely starting it over! FROM SCRATCH!! Hard reboot! Not going back! Everything's on fire... *just imagine fire emoji's here*" - Scruffyeevee - Ok, so, this is probably a really big shocker to you guys, especially because some of you guys REALLY like it. (I mean... I made people cry with the prologue...) So, I made this project to explain why I am. I want to be honest with you guys and know what's going on with SoT. I've slowed down on posting it, I know. Someone even asked me if it was cancelled. (ToT) I promise you guys, it's not. But it could be so so much better. - So- "iN dE VeRY bEGinNiNG-" - Scruffyeevee I was bored at school in study hall, not knowing what to do with my time. (I mean, first week's purtty boring right?) And an idea popped into my head. I had been wanting to make a story about the eeveelutions for some time and I found that I could start on it. That's how SoT came to be. But I didn't have a vision with SoT. I did have a plan or any idea what I would do with it. It was just a story I played around with and did whatever I felt like... without thinking about the consequences. To be completely honest with you guys, SoT was originally just a story where I could just get all my dark ideas or thoughts out... turning it into a really dark story. But as time went on, I started to fall in love with the characters. So did my friends and sister. And before I knew it, I had written 3 whole stories of SoT, each being about 100+ pages long. But the stories are terrible. The whole thing sucks! (ToT) AND NOW I'MA GONNA EXPLAIN WHY! :D - Problems: Characters: They suck bro- (TwT) I hate their personalitiessss- some of them don't even have oneeeee- *SOB* Ok, so, I've realized that a lot of these characters are all over the place with their emotions, actions, motives. None of them really match up and it makes the characters confusing and hard to follow. I know you guys are only into the 11th chapter and still don't know what's going on entirely, but that's a good thing. Trust. - But lemme give you an example of them being 'all over the place'. So, Slash. Hate to gang up on him, but I have to. *Big breath* SLASH IS ALL OVER THE PLACE. First he’s fine, then he hates everyone, then has a meltdown, then hates his brother, then feels frustrated, then ALMOST KILLS KAI, and ONLY THEN does he feels bad about it. (ToT) There’s just too much going onnnnnnnn- *clears throat* Ok, so, bet ya'll didn't get half of that but it's fine. To clear it up for you guys, SLASH IS A HOT MESS. He's always been. And I hate that. He's never consistent. Then there's Kai, who is the opposite. Bro's the same ALL THE TIME. Think of him as Mary Poppins but like- better. He's like- perfect all the time. He's FLAT. Of course there are some moments where he has different emotions but BRO'S SO FLAAAATTTT- I haven't been able to study each character so far and point out everything that's wrong with them, but Kai and Slash are major characters in the story. And if they're this flawed, then what do the other characters look like? - Also, did anyone know that Lavender, Crystal, and Hazel are supposed to be the main characters? (ToT) (No? Just me?) I don't blame you guys if ya'll didn't know that. You couldn't tell. I COULDN'T TELL BRO- We I was writing the story, it originally started out as Lavender, Crystal, and Hazel being the main characters, but then I lost track on like- page 15 (ToT) ...that's how bad at writing i was... Also, I feel like the characters just HATE each other and then in the end, suddenly come together and are friends. Like- there's no character development at all! It's so annoying! - Ok, all this to say, characters are a big issue. V-V That's not even all the problems probably. (Whoops 1x) - Timelines: TIMELINES ARE MY WORST ENEMYYYYYY- *imagine more fire emoji's* When I wrote SoT, time lines, ages, all of that was not in mind. (V-V) I didn't know exactly how old people where, how long things had happened or how long ago things took place, or anything or the sort. And that caused major problems my friend. HECK YEAH IT DID. :) For example, everyone was shipping Lavender and Dallis... just think about that for a second... BRO- DALLIS is KAI'S bestfriend. SO THAT MEANS, DALLIS IS ABOUT KAI'S AGE! AND EVERYONE WAS SHIPPING DALLIS WITH KAI'S DAUGHTER!! LIKE WHAT TH- *take two* *Deep Breath and loud sigh* That means, there's a pretty massive age gap and Lavender would be dating some freaky old man! (ToT) AND I DON'T BLAME YOU GUYS FOR IT!!! It was my fault! I never made their ages clear! I didn't even know what their ages were!! *SOB* (Whoops 2x)
(Continue) - *Sigh* Ok, so I think you all get the point of that. And don't even get me started on backstory timing and how that all goes. V-V (Whoops 3x) - World/Plot: Ok, so something that's just as important as the characters is the world they live in. To be honest, I never really had a clear vision of their world or what it looked like. I never drew out a map or anything. And as the story got bigger, so did the world, and I totally lost track of like- everything. All I had was this very vague map in my head and I never even put it down on paper. (Whoops 4x) - The whole plot is broken and a dumpster-fire. There’s so many cracks in it, the pacing is TERRIBLE, and the whole plot line kinda sucks. There’s only a few things I like. (also, why the heck does Blood have those machines and it’s like… the freaking mid-evil times bro- ?) Ya'll haven't gotten to that part yet and thank God you haven't. But like I said, the plot is a dumpster-fire and I can't fix it, unless I reboot the whole thing. There's only a few good parts in the plot and the rest is basically filler or crap. (Whoops 5x) - Also, in the plot, I just focused on the bad or horrid things that happened to the characters. I never got to focus on relationships or growth or anything like that. AND I HATE HORROR. (ToT) I don't like it! And somehow I'm writing about it??!! (X[ ) Everything's just so twisted! And I love romance! >:3 I'ma sucker for it. But I also never got to write about it really until the 3rd book, and even then it was so so little. (Whoops 6x) - So plot is really rough too, no big surprise. 0-0'' - Backstories: Ok, so recently, I posted the next chapter of SoT! It was chapter 11 and it was about Kale, Suwaku, and Calvin's backstory. And I'ma just gonna put @ValkyrieLycan in the spotlight here for a moment- (sorry gurl XD ) But here's her comment that she posted on the chapter: "YIPPEE TRAUMA DE@TH SIBLINGS ART *clapping*" Just think about that for a second. 0-0'' That's literally what it is. And that's sad. And I kid you not- I swear- every character in SoT has a backstory just like that or worse. It's always a parent(s) dy!ng, people bullying, favorite children, ect. Whatever it is, every character was hurting so much from it, and as the author, I was responsible for giving them these backstories. AND I DIDN'T EVEN REALIZE IT! (Whoops 1000x) - The whole thing is just a huge mess. And I want to fix it. And the only way to do that, is to change it completely. So with that, I present to you THE CHANGES~ :D - Changes: So, a lot is going to change about SoT, from the plot line to the characters designs! X3 I want it to be the best for my readers! Also, I will put my heart into the art and give it a better style! :3 (eg. TN, Refs, ect.) Also, if anyone's wondering, I'm not doing 'drawing out chapters'. I might give you like, one or two panel/pages in the middle of a chapter but like, I'm not doing that. (TwT) It took WAY too long. *silent sob* 3 freaking months... *sniff* *Violently kicks chapter 11 out of this world* But screw that entire thing over!! >:D (;v;) - Characters: So what's actually gonna change about the characters? Well, for one they're all getting new redesigns!!! (☆ o ☆) X33 I'm so excited about this cause like... the other outfits ⋆˙⟡SUCKED⟡⋆˙ I might open up a project that would be similar to cameons but instead of making up a whole new character, you get to try to design a new outfit for an SoT character! :D I think it would be really fun! X3 But will see. :3 (I've already started brainstorming Kai's new outfit...) - Not only are the character's outfits changing, but I'm going to be changing their personalities! :D I'm going to make them better, well-rounded characters! And I might even have a character start out flat, but in the end, turns out to be really round. We'll see! ;3 - Another thing I will do is I will make lists of who I want to be the main character, the main trio, the main cast, the antagonist, and more! I will make sure that ya'll can tell who's the main character! (;v;) *sobs* the girls were supposed to be the main characters the whole time... Kai seemed like the main character until bro decided he wanted to go get the milk... *SOB* Anyways!! :D I will also be creating better families! And I will be changing some characters' relations! For example, Vora will probably not be Harin's sister anymore! (cause the relationship between Kai and Harin and Slash and Vora... ) Vora will become Harin's cousin but have a sister-like relationship with her. :3 Also, Harin might have an evil brother for some reasons but we're still figuring it out. :P - All this to say, I'm excited about the characters! >:33 - (continue inside de project ToT)
