not edible Magic candy (yes, it's real candy, just in case you think this isn't) that cannot pop Bloons initially, but instead applies knockback. The left path focuses on gum, which sticks to Bloons and increases the range, eventually having a whole bubblegum thing inside that stuns bloons for long periods of time! The right path also allows this friendly piece of sugar to throw gumdrops that land on the path and pop Bloons (knockback spikes), eventually being able to throw a BIG gumdrop in the air to instapop ceramics or lower (activated ability)! Gumdrops also stick to MOABs at tier 3, increasing the damage it takes by a tiny amount! This monkey (specifically the main attack) was inspired by the Jelly Monkey game for the SMES. Main attack: makes a fist come from its belly to knock back Bloons. Semi-slow attack speed because it would be too easy if it was faster. 1-X: Bubblegum (now applies gum that slows down Bloons by 5%, stacks 10x) 2-X: More Gum! (increases range as the gum is able to stretch out more) 3-X: Relentless Gum (Relentless glue in BTD5! More attack speed and range as well, plus the gum now does 3 initial damage to Bloons and has a random chance of sticking for 3, 4, or 5 seconds, and the longer a Bloon is gummed (gummed???) by this tower, the faster it will pop (first delay: 1s, after every delay -0.1s from previous (0.9, 0.8, 0.7...), caps at 0.1s) 4-X: Gumballs (the afformentioned stun, also gum now slows MOABs up to BFB, main attack pops Bloons and crushes ceramics (it's a big hard candy, what do you expect?), first gum popping delay 1s -> 0.5s) X-1: Gumdrops (throws gumdrops on the track that basically function as knockback spikes, but only works twice before disappearing, also coats Bloons is sugar that does DoT (same rate as corrosive glue, it's a tier 1)) X-2: Sugar Coat (now does 1 damage to Bloons with main attack, sugar-coated Bloons now take 2 damage) X-3: Gumdrop Friends! (Gumdrops now stick to MOABs, increasing the damage taken by 5%, stacks up to 5 times for a total of 25% more damage, main attack applies sugar coat and sugar coated Bloons now take 4 damage) X-4: Sugar Bomb (Activated ability: throws a gumdrop where you target, squishing all non-MOAB class Bloons it lands on and sends a puff of sugar out in a small radius, boosting attack speed for monkeys the puff hits by 10% for 15 seconds. Also, main attack is faster, sugar coated Bloons pop at the same rate as Bloon liquefier)
