Ive been a fan of guardians of gahoole since I was very little. I have read the whole series but I do admit its been so long I sort of forget a lot of the plot… pure ones.. witch hags.. etc Anyways, when i saw this i knew I had to enter. I can animate byt its a low process. Art has always been quick for me so I usually stray away from animation. This took me exactly an hour and 12 seconds to make. I chose a slightly more painterly style. This is loosely supposed to be the scene in the movie (which is fantastic if you view it as separate media from the books) where Soren flies out of the forest fire. Click the screen to see version without text, i was a little unsure what the name of the map was (my bad) so if the text is wrong the version without text is available.
