Boss battle attacks are bullets (telegraphed), glasses rain (15 pairs of glasses fall from the sky and it sounds very satisfying), spin bullets (loser goes to the middle of the screen and releases a large burst of bullets), rays (telegraphed, just avoid them), moving rays (telegraphed slightly differently), and the circle of death (dodge). ✦ Backstory ✦ The nerd emoji in the game is called the loser by his friends because he contains immense power and intelligence, but chooses only to use his intelligence. People are too busy using emojis in texts to think about how they feel, so the nerd emoji grew angry because people would use him in texts if someone was being overly smart, or "nerdy". Scratch Cat was one of the people using the nerd emoji when texting his friend Zepto. Zepto actually turned out to be a friend of the nerd emoji, so they naturally notified the nerd emoji of this, and he started following a plan Zepto had devised. Zepto said to Scratch Cat that they were taking him to see the great Impossible Maze, with coins to collect that let you go to the next round, but what Scratch Cat didn't know was that Zepto actually hid the nerd emoji in the middle of the maze's first level. The nerd emoji started chasing Scratch Cat down, so he used attack tactics he had learnt from his friends to try and take down the nerd, but the nerd was simply too powerful. In the final level of the maze, the nerd engaged his full power to eradicate Scratch Cat, but he managed to collect all the coins, weaken the loser, and send out his final kicks to get rid of him. And that's the story behind why the loser tries to unalive you in the game!

Then later after I added the whirl background for the first level, he added 3 new levels with their own backgrounds. Then, after he released Loser's Revenge, I copied it (see term) and started working on it.
