FRWC Proposal #003 "The American Energy Commission" The American Energy Commission is a government-controlled, government-funded service that provides unlimited* clean energy to clients (other countries). All energy is supplied by West Canada and will be brought to customers via High-Voltage lines or AC-to-DC conversion. By signing up, you will be entitled to extra power for your power grid, which can help you power homes, factories, and more! Prices fluctuate with supply and demand, but we can guarantee you an average cost of 95$ USD per megawatt-hour! For comparison, a small factory or large commercial building uses five Megawatt-hours a day. Join now and receive electricity! Once you agree to sign up, your deal will last for a year until you will have to renew it. We may terminate this service anytime we wish. *Limits may be established to accommodate supply and demand. A member is currently not allowed to exceed 100,000 MWh/Day.
//Power Demands The power demands this can create are largely offset by the previous projects, where we built more infrastructure (including hydroelectric infrastructure). However, to ensure we meet all demands, we will continue developing and upgrading hydroelectric infrastructure and expand further into wind energy. //The Solar Act We have recently made deals with Laurentia regarding solar panels. This is where we would get the solar panels needed for this act. All private households are to install solar panels to reduce electricity usage. Two million solar panels in total will be provided and installed by the government, for which we, in turn, only ask for $200. We say to our civilians that this will benefit us both: Solar panels will help lower electricity bills, and we can use the excess energy to supply other countries and elsewhere! Apartments will also be asked to install solar panels that can supply a quarter of the electricity needs of all residents living there IN THE FUTURE. The act currently does not affect apartments. Landlords are not allowed to charge extra towards their tenants to cover up the costs of the act. If done so, tenants will have the authority to report it to the government. Goodness gracious, this is going to be so expensive... //Invitations We invite Alberta, Yukon Territory, Wisconsin, and Laurentia to join the commission. (2 NPCs, 2 Players)
