We though we were safe, we thought we could control it, use it, we were wrong. We had no idea what we were doing. I wasn't some dumb virus from the movies, it was smarter, faster, more creative. It evolved, not over months over weeks, but MINUTES. It circumvented every protocol, broke every seal, eluded every containment procedure. We were wrong, and now everyone is dead. We were so, so wrong.
