Hello, and welcome to our “Museum Monthly” for September 2026! We’re still waiting on the same aircraft. We might get the F-16 in the coming weeks. Ontario: F-16C 83-1162 - Davis Monthan AFB - Restoration to Static Display EA-6B 158804 - Static Display Chino: NRA-3B 146447 - Davis-Monthan AFB - Restoration to Flight Aircraft Updates - The He 111, A-26, and C-97 have been moved to our ONT location. Museum Updates and Visitor Advisories - We will be having a grand opening to the Grumman Hangar next week! See you there! - Thanks to everyone who attended LSAS 2026! We had a few issues this year due to weather, but it still turned out to be a great show! We have rescheduled future shows to February, and LSAS27 will be on the 13th and 14th. See y’all then! - If you’ve checked the LSAM studio recently, I’m working to add some more info to the description. Maybe someday I’ll get to working on the website. - As many of y’all know, we’ve housed parts of the An 225, including the nose and rudder. This was only a temporary storage situation, and the time has come to return these parts to Ukraine. We don’t know what will happen to them, but we never owned them. They have been removed from public display, and will be shipped back to Ukraine in the near future. New Displays, Activities, and Exhibits - The PSAA P-59 will be on display for an extended time at LSAM Ontario! - We have recently acquired a GE90 from… well, ourselves. We aren’t exactly sure why it is no longer in WGA service, but it is now on display behind the 747-200. Restorations Ontario Work is continuing on the 747SP! We hope to get it in the air by next year! We’re installing the wings of the XB-19! We also have the landing gear ready to go! Chino We’re currently working on getting the cockpit of the TBD done, so we can conduct some initial engine and gear tests, and also so we can get the wings connected. Work is finally underway for the Me 262! We’re currently working on the tail in Ontario, and the wings in Chino. We’ll start work on the cockpit once the tail is done and attached to the forward fuselage.
