Their camp sits in an abandoned farm, complete with a partially roofless house, a shed without a door, and a dilapidated barn. There is also a sizeable orchard, which grows apples and peaches throughout the year. Because of the shelter and fruit, Prickleclan is a hot-spot for wildlife and prey runs well throughout the year. Prickleclan is also well-known for being sociable and respectful with outsiders. Rogues passing through are often welcomed for a meal if they are well-meaning before they carry on their way, or they may be invited in if they seem friendly and willing. Certain loners reside in Prickleclan territory without being part of the clan officially, Alise being the most notable of them. Because of their caring subculture, it is uncommon but not unheard of for a matriarch to raise an orphaned baby of another species. Sometimes, just until they are weaned, but other times the animal is welcomed into their ranks. Ratmask is the most well-known example of this since he is in present-day Prickleclan, and trained as an apprentice to become a full-fledged clan member. There have been instances of opossums, skunks, and even a fox kit raised in Prickleclan since its founding, although the fox kit did pass away during a distemper outbreak during Ternstar's time.
