This is a new series I'm trying out called, "Something Interesting That Happened Today" Today is August 30. First African American in Space (1983): U.S. astronaut Guion S. Bluford, Jr., flew aboard the space shuttle Challenger, making history as the first African American to travel into space.
I'll be making Objects for each day that is related to what happened on that day. Stay tuned for Tomorrows Historical event!
