It /had/ been off since Shelly turned into a twisted and the main event Toons had died. Even before that, the educational center and museum had lost its special spark when it closed to the public. But it wasn’t that—even Astro, one of Dandy’s best friends, was keeping his distance from him. He felt something trickle down his cheek—was this really making him cry? It was no big deal. “…Is something wrong?” he asked. Silence. “Astro?” He could tell that Astro was ignoring him. “Uhh… you might want to look in the mirror…” he finally responded. Dandy sighed. Did he have a piece of food in his teeth or something? He visited one of the public bathrooms that had been scattered around the facility and looked at himself in the mirror. It was his eyes. Why were they black? And that hadn’t been a tear trickling down his cheek. It was ichor. After asking the other Toons and getting no answers, Sprout whispered something into his ear. “The event main Toons aren’t dead, Dandy…they’re infected.” The word tossed in his head for a moment. “Infected..?” Sprout sighed. “Delilah and Arthur are calling it Inkeye— and so far, they’ve found no cure. Even if there was one, it would probably be too risky to try and save them.” Just the thought of having an infection with no cure made Dandy shudder. “It looks like your case is extremely mild, though. Just don’t go looking for the event mains.” So that’s exactly what Dandy did. He visited floor after floor, but found nothing. But on the aquarium floor, he heard growling. It didn’t sound like Pebble. It didn’t sound like Coal. It didn’t even sound like Eclipse. He peeked down the hall and saw something. Someone. No, not someone—there was three of them.
