hi, so i’m gonna be ranting because i’m genuinely angry at this point. i’ve been seeing way too many comments claiming that the Solstice Society is “replacing” the spop community, and i need everyone to understand this once and for all , IT’S NOT. me and nivi have said this repeatedly like several times .the solstice Society is a JOINT community between the aes and spop communities. it was literally created to give both groups a shared space. we are NOT replacing any community, and we have never claimed to. if you’re mad that our community is more active than the spop community right now, i need you to realize something very simple: people choose where they want to be active. nobody is being forced. nobody is being dragged away. if someone prefers chatting in Solstice instead of aes or spop, that’s their choice. that’s how online communities work , people gravitate toward the space that feels most alive, welcoming, or fun at the moment. and it’s not even just spoppers. there are plenty of aes scratchers in Solstice too. the reason you see more spoppers talking is because spoppers tend to be more active overall. that’s literally just a pattern of user behavior, not some conspiracy to “replace” anything. so PLEASE stop saying we’re replacing the spop community or trying to take over anything, because we aren’t. it’s exhausting, it’s inaccurate, and it’s honestly disrespectful to the work we’ve put into building a space meant for everyone. if you want to chat in your own community, go ahead. nobody is stopping you. but don’t get mad when other people prefer chatting somewhere else. you don’t get to decide where people hang out. period point blank. end of discussion.
