DISCRETION IS ADVISED: If you decide to do personal research on your own for this book, that is your decision, not mine and I am not responsible for any emotions you may feel because of it. I am typing this review in the most appropriate way possible. The Dark Hours by Michael Connelly introduced a crossover that we never we'd want but we actually needed. This thriller was released in November 2021 during the COVID-19 Pandemic and included two LAPD detectives. Retired LAPD H0micide Detective Hieronymus Bosch and LAPD Detective Renée Ballard. This crossover and their detective skills was absolutely phenomenal. Michael also shows how this period of time actually was in real life for the City of Angels almost perfectly. Plus the personal parts we see for both characters that ties everything together was on point. For this read, I'd have to rate it a 10/10;
