Behold Tourmaline-Olo Torbergia! He's the protagonist of my newborn tale: "Feud in the Jewels" (hopefully, I'll not drop this one like the others). He's of 12-14 years in my story, so if he appears more mature-looking, I apologize.
*~Tourie's Best Moments~* (not ranked) 1. Tourmaline groaned and shied his eyes. The purple was eroding his eyes! He hated it. He wanted to run away, into the green-and-brown palette of the woods. Brown was nice. It was always gentle on his pale cyan eyes and his unnaturally light mask around his eyes. He could dance and look at the sky without brightness punching at him everywhere he went. “Tourmaline-Olo Torbergia!” Aunt Amethisa’s voice cut through his imagination. “Focus on your studies!” Tourmaline sighed. The forest never told him to study, study, and study. Read, read, and read. He swore words would flood his head and drown his brain cells. ... 2. “Uh, Auntie?” Tourmaline pointed to behind them, “Outside is this way.” Amethisa laughed, “We are going to the opposite of outside.” Tourmaline pursued his lips… Okay? They were already inside. So, this destination must be the opposite-opposite of outside. Perfect sense. Perfect logic. ... 3. A loud rap bounced from the door. Feeling the vibration, he groaned and dragged his feet to the door. He turned the knob and opened it. Standing there was an angry Iolia. She had her hands on her hips and a scowl on her face. Tourmaline waved his hand lazily, “What’s up, sister?” “WHAT’S UP?!” she shouted, then tightened her fists, “Tourmaline-Olo, you skipped education and angered our parents! You know the rules, when one of us gets in trouble, we both get punished!” Tourmaline felt a flicker of annoyance, “Whatever. I’m not going.”
