an egg shaped wooden vessel, covered in leather and pine tar. it is propelled by oars coming out of the sides of the vessel, through holes sealed with pine tar. uses a tube to bring fresh air inside. Rikard van beolande has tought up this idea he describes as ingenious, a vessel that can travel beneath the waves. Dykeholder Ouiyiam Karl-Yohannes is looking into this, underseeboet or U-boet, and if it can have a use in warfare.
