So I’m currently working on a book, and I just wanted to talk about it a bit because I’ve included some of the characters in some of my projects. So basically I’ve been working on my book, Colorless Sky for a while now, and I’m currently writing the 4th chapter. I may share the actual story on scratch but I need to make some tweaks first, but anyway heres a bit about it: Colorless Sky is about a world where there is no color except for the jackets that everyone has to wear. At birth, people are assigned a color and a number 1-5, which are shown on the jackets. These affect everything from school groups to job placement to social rank. The story follows four kids placed in the same school sector, (a sector is kind of like a winglet, they have classes together and sleep in the same dorm area) Sector 1. One of these kids, lavender, notices a strange finds a strange pendant. It…looks like it has color? But that’s impossible! Lavender decides to keep this pendant, and soon discovers things that flip her entire world view upside down.
Here’s a bit about each of the members of sector 1: Lavender - Purple 1 - Lavender loves writing and learning about the history of her town, she’s always looking for new things to learn about. - She also is extremely stubborn and if she’s trying to get answers she will stop at nothing to find them Eliza - Yellow 1 - Eliza is an orphan, she was found outside the orphanage at age 3 with no clue as to where she came from. - She has a condition where she faints in seemingly random circumstances. But the cause of this affliction is unknown Elijah -Teal 1 -He is the mayors son and is constantly put in the spotlight. -Elijah doesn’t like all the attention he gets and constantly tries to have a “normal life” Lloyd -Gray 1 -Lloyd has an older sister who he is constantly compared to by his parents. -He is a Gray, the lowest color rank, so he has the worst social standing out of all of Sector 1.
