With Japan mobilizing 6 million troops, and Indonesia mobilizing a lot of troops too, we must move to compete. Because of this, we start recruiting younger people to join the military and defend their nation against the evil Japanese who want to erase us from existence. We will also recruit a bit from Sri Lanka, who is also under threat from Japanese raids. We don't expect to get much from our new ally, but we should be getting some. We decide to give extra social security to veterans and those who work much past the minimum age to receive the money. This may sound expensive, but it was previously cut in favor of other things. We should soon be able to begin training. We will train them well, unlike Japan, so we can fight their superior numbers. We know that the enemy will number up to 10,000,000 maybe, so we have to do what our former British overlords did: sit on our boats and starve them out. This should be done by the time the Japanese finish their hurried mobilization. Once any of the troops are done being fully trained, they will go into the reserves, so they can rejoin the workforce.
