Solara realized in 2002 that the Ferrari Enzo had a lot of hype, and that the recently hyped up car, the Solara Elangenza, was just not up to the same level. So that's when they came up with the Solara Ƒ̶ ̶Ƙ̶ ̶1̶ ̶1! a 5.2 Liter NA V12 with 660 hp, revving up to 8000 rpms. The Solara Ƒ̶ ̶Ƙ̶ ̶1̶ ̶1̶ was a hit almost immediately; Ferrari got very mad and decided to set up a 5-lap race around the Nürburgring. Solara, being Solara, accepted, and when it was race day, Ferrari cheated... They cut 2 gas lines on the Ƒ̶ ̶Ƙ̶ ̶1̶ ̶1̶, and when they got to the third lap, the engine was very hot, and just a little bit of gas dripped on the exhaust manifold, which, of course, set fire and led to an unfortunate series of events that made driver Johnny Schuwl lose the back brakes and one gear. But he did not give up, and rumour has it that the driver was directed to... rear-end him? The driver did as told but missed and skidded into a tree, and the Enzo almost immediately caught fire. Johnny stopped and ran to the car and stood and watched as the driver pleaded for help. Johnny called for help, but they would be a minute... He ran to the car nd got the driver out, at the expense of his right arm being severely burned. Ferrari was sued by Solara, and they got 7 billion from them. In the end, both cars are amazing masterpieces
